Relationships are purposefully built and of particular note is that our school implements the strengths-based Berry Street Education Model (BSEM) of curriculum delivery, and strategies and routines such as Welcome Circle, that aim to support growth, healing and achievement for all. Students know their teachers well and teachers at our school make their students the centre of everything they do.
We aim to create positive attitudes towards School, Education and Community.
We resource for Equity and Excellence.
We support young people to become effective learners and partners in learning.
As students’ progress from Junior Primary to Upper Primary to the responsibilities of Senior School, Allendale East Area School staff nurture their individual intellectual, social, physical, creative and emotional capabilities and dispositions, so that upon completion of schooling they are ready to take their place and prosper in the wider world.

It teaches children to:
- recognise abuse and tell a trusted adult about it
- understand what touching is appropriate and inappropriate

Agricultural programs
Allendale East Area School makes authentic connections with the land upon which it is situated – the Boandik. Through outstanding Agricultural programs such as Led Steer, Walking the Seasons, Outdoor Education, Environmental projects, and The Arts curriculum, students better understand the importance of protecting and understanding the area in which they live, work and play.
